Shershaah clocks 1 Year: Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani celebrate the movie success with a special video

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are celebrating 1 year of thier blockbuster hit Shershah. The movie is based on the life of Vikram Batra, martyred in the Kargil War. The movie featured Sidharth Malhotra in dual roles as Batra and his twin brother Vishal. Kiara Advani was seen playing the role of his girlfriend Dimple Cheema.

As Shershaah clocks 1 year, to mark the special occassion Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani shared a special video on Instagram.

Sharing the same video Kiara wrote, “One film, one year, multitudinous love! To a story that stirred up emotions across the world, winning hearts & awards aplenty & leaving an impact of a lifetime. #1YearOfShershaah, “yeh dil maange more!””

Kiara later took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “@sidmalhotra Tu baatein toh badi badi karta tha, par tu bhi na “Out of sight, Out of mind” type ka banda nikla!” The actor soon replied and wrote that he never forgets and adds that it’s a date at 6.

For the unversed, the dialogue is from Shershaah, wherein Sidharth Malhotra aka Vikram Batra reads Kiara aka Dimple Cheema’s letter.

Karan Johar who co-produced the movie also penned a sweet note regarding Shershaah and also shared the video. The film was produced by KJo’s Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment. He wrote, “Very rarely do you come across films that continue to give unabashed love even after a year…#Shershaah undoubtedly is one of them. The impact that resonated across the globe and the hearts that still beat with it…we are grateful and PROUD to have told this story for you all. Yeh dil maange more?? #1YearOfShershaah”

Shershaah premiered on 12 August 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.
