Shibani Dandekar hits back at trolls who slammed her for the cooking video with her house help

Shibani Dandekar is one of the most gorgeous divas in Bollywood. She has been quite the trendsetter when it comes to fashion. But, we think Shibani will agree that being a pro in the kitchen is not something she has aced yet. A few days back, the model-actress had posted a video where she was seen cooking pasta for which she was brutally trolled. But, looks like Farhan Akhtar’s GF is not one to sit back and watch as she recently slammed the trolls.

A while back, Shibani had taken to her Instagram handle to post a cooking video. In the video, she took a lot of help from her maid while she cooked the pasta. Her boyfriend Farhan Akhtar was the designated cameraman. Her post’s caption read, “How can anyone be this bad in the kitchen??! making pasta with mushrooms spring onions and cream sauce! I’ve made this a thousand times and it still isn’t that good! thank you to my wonderful kitchen assistants and cameraman! (sic)”

The actress was brutally trolled for having house help and not knowing how to function in the kitchen.

Now in an interview with Hindustan Times, Shibani reacting on the nasty comments said, “I don’t care what the trolls say on social media and I don’t always respond to them. But at times, I feel it’s important to put some people in place; they need to be told that their behaviour is out of order” 

“It isn’t a place for you to be judged and criticised by others. This isn’t a platform for you to be nasty and vile. If you’re going to be that way, you’ll be blocked,” she shared.

Recalling the whole incident, she further added, “Humour is a huge part of the way I operate; if people can’t understand a joke then they should not follow me. I know where I’m coming from and the kind of relationship I’ve with the people I work with and they also understand.”
