Shikha Talsania bursts out on body-shaming & fat-shaming; says, “I don’t really care”

‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress Shikha Talsania will be seen in Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Coolie No.1’.  Shikha is happy to be part of the film. We recently had an interaction with the actress, where she spoke about the film, working with Varun and David Dhawan, body-shaming and more.

Talking about ‘Coolie No. 1’, Shikha said that it was an absolute blast to have worked with veterans of the industry and sharing the screen with Varun (Dhawan), Sara (Ali Khan) and Sahil (Vaid). On David Dhawan, she said, “It is an absolute joy to be directed by David Sir.”

She further said, “It was wonderful working with Varun. He is extremely talented and funny and David Sir created this wonderful atmosphere where we could improvise and make the scenes our own. Varun and I had a lot of fun working on all the scenes together.” Shikha is eagerly looking forward to December 25 as ‘Coolie No. 1’ is releasing on Amazon Prime Video.

Many times she has been body-shamed and sometimes all these affected her. She said, “Honestly, at the end of the day, nobody is going to remember only for what you look like. But they want to remember you only for the way you have been and for your actions and your heart and soul. So, I don’t really care what other people think as long as I know who I am.  I have my wonderful set of friends and family around me that appreciate me, love me and none of them (trolls) matters.”
