Actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra once again was seen hitting the headlines after it was reported that an FIR has been filed against the actress and her husband Raj Kundra in Rs 1.51 crore cheating case. Reportedly, the case has been registered against Kashiff Khan, director of SFL Fitness Pvt Ltd for cheating and breaching the contract by Pune youth Yash Barai. As the FIR news was taking everyone by storm, the Baazigar actor finally reacted on the same and issued a statement saying how shocked she is to see her name being dragged in the case.
Taking it to her Instagram stories, Shetty explains that she and her husband are unaware of the monetary transaction as Kashiff Khan takes care of the finance. In her statement, Shilpa mentioned that Khan used to deal with all the franchisees and the company was shut in 2014.
Her statement read, “Woke up to an FIR registered in Raj and my name! Shocked! To set the record straight. SFL fitness, a venue run by Kashiff Khan. He had taken naming rights of brand SFL to open SFL fitness gyms around the country. All deals were struck by him and he was a signatory in banking and day to day affairs. We are not aware of any of his transactions not have we perceived a single rupee from him for the same. All franchisee’s dealt directly with Kashiff. The company closed in 2014, and was entirely handled by Kashiff Khan.”
She even mentions that she has worked hard in the industry and wants her rights to be protected. “I have worked very hard over the last 28 years and it rains me to see that my name and reputation is getting damaged and dragged so loosely to get eyeballs. My rights as a law abiding proud citizen in India should be protected. With gratitude Shilpa Shetty Kundra,” she added.
