Shilpa Shetty breaks her silence on facing tough times with Raj Kundra during the case

Shilpa Shetty and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra have been through a lot in the past two years. The actress has resumed work recently and has been busy ever since. She is often clicked heading out with her husband, Raj Kundra on several occasions. Shilpa made a striking appearance at the trailer launch event of her upcoming movie titled Nikamma.

At the trailer launch event of Nikamma, Shilpa Shetty opened up about facing tough times with her husband, Raj Kundra. During the event, a media person asked the Nikamma actress about facing tough times with Raj Kundra after the recent court case in an alleged pornographic content matter. Even though the media person was stopped from asking the question, Shilpa chose to react and responded on the same.

Firstly, Shetty explained that the event was about her movie trailer and not her personal life. She further said, “I think we are here to celebrate a new beginning not just for me but our director Sabbir (Khan) and actors Abhimanyu and Shirley who have worked very hard on this movie. I don’t think this is about me or my life.”

Talking about facing tough times, Shilpa added, “We’ve all in our lives have been through a difficult phase. The last 2 years have not just been difficult for me but a lot of people. The film industry in general, too. Because films have been ready, they’ve been in the can but not been able to see the light of the day. People couldn’t come into theatres. But, this is a big moment for us.”

Meanwhile, the trailer of Nikamma gives a peek into the upcoming movie. The movie also stars Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia, apart from Shilpa. Shetty is seen playing the role of a superwomen.
