Shilpa Shetty’s friend hosts a lavish pink-themed party to welcome newborn Samisha-view pics

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra welcomed a baby girl via surrogacy on February 15. The couple announced the news on their social media handles on February 21. They named their little angel Samisha Shetty Kundra. Shilpa and Raj’s near and dear ones are happy for the couple becoming parents for the second time and they poured in their congratulatory messages for them. Shilpa’s friend Akanksha Malhotra hosted a pink-themed party to welcome Samisha.

In the pictures shared by Akanksha, we see multiple cakes and everything around at the party is pink. Akanksha and her husband are the godparents of Samisha. Sharing the pictures from the party, Akanksha wrote, “Celebrating our baby Samisha Shetty Kundra.” In the pics, we also see Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima and her husband. There was an adorable cake that was adorned with baby items like a blanket, shoes, clothes and other stuff.

On Samisha’s arrival, Akanksha Malhotra posted a heartfelt note. Congratulating the couple, she wrote, “Superrrrr excited and feel blessed to be the God mother to my Angel ? love you’ll loads”.

While talking about planning for the second baby, Shilpa told Mumbai Mirror, “We had been trying for a second child for five years. I had signed ‘Nikamma’ and had committed my dates to ‘Hungama’ when I got the news that in February, we were going to be parents again. We cleared our work schedules for the whole month.”
