After bringing Ganesha home; Shilpa Shetty rushes to give Akshay Kumar her condolences on his mother’s demise

Akshay Kumar was met with an unfortunate incident as his mother passed away on Wednesday. Just a day before her demise, Akshay’s mother Aruna Bhatia was rushed to Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital as her health and deteriorated. Unfortunately, Aruna did not make it and breathed her last yesterday morning. Akshay was swarmed with prayers and condolence messages from his fans as well as Bollywood celebrities. Some of the Bollywood celebs like actor Riteish Deshmukh, friend Sajid Khan, filmmaker Rohit Shetty and producer Ramesh Taurani were seen at Akshay’s mother’s funeral. Also seen later in the day was Shilpa Shetty who visited Akshay Kumar’s residence to give her condolences.

Along with Shilpa, also seen was John Abraham as per a report by ETimes. Shilpa had just welcomed Ganesh at her home for the Ganesh Chaturthi and pictures of her bring the majestic idol home had been going viral all over the internet.

Akshay had penned down a heartbreaking note on his social media account and wrote, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti ??(sic)”

Meanwhile, Akshay’s mother’s funeral took place in Vile Parle, Mumbai yesterday that was attended by Akshay’s family and also many Bollywood celebrities who came to give their condolences. Later in the day, Akshay was also seen arriving at his Atrangi Re director Anand L Rai’s mother’s funeral who also passed away on the same day.
