Shilpa Shetty will narrate the Mahabharata as Draupadi on radio

Actress and fitness enthusiast Shilpa Shetty has added many feathers to her cap. She has written books, judged shows and is also an entrepreneur. And now she is all set to make her radio debut.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, marking her debut on radio, Shilpa will be narrating Mahabharata as Draupadi. Talking about inclination towards spirituality and her radio debut, the actress told the tabloid, “As kids, BR Chopra’s Mahabharat was the only show we were allowed to watch on TV. I have always been spiritually inclined, Draupadi is a beautifully etched, iconic character and I am happy to lend my voice to her while exploring a new medium.”

She further added, “I will be in the company of many stalwarts and I want my son now to hear me narrate the story of the Pandavas and Kauravas that I grew up listening to.”

The actress feels that the show will reach out to every person who listens to radio either while travelling or at home.
