Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra got into a heated argument when he was brought home by police officials?

Shilpa Shetty had reportedly got into an argument with husband Raj Kundra and the actress later broke down while giving her statement at the Mumbai Crime Branch on Friday. On Friday, after he was remanded Raj Kundra was taken to his Juhu residence for a house search. The businessman met his wife Shilpa there and they seemed to have gotten into an argument then.

According to a report by Free Press Journal, officials claimed that Shilpa was visibly shaken and upset when she had to give her statement. But, the officials had to take the Hungama 2 actresses statement to get an understanding if she has any involvement in the case. The report also said that during the house raid, officers found a cupboard hidden in a cavity.

Shilpa Shetty also said she had no idea about Raj’s activities and what happened at his firm. The actress told the officers that she found out about everything through newspapers as she was busy with her own work. Shilpa’s statement is necessary in the case as she was the director of Kundra’s Viaan Industries.

Meanwhile, Raj Kundra was to stay in police custody till July 23, but it was later extended to July 27. Raj and his associate have been booked under Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) besides sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. Raj is also said to ace money laundering charges by Enforcement Directorate (ED).
