Shilpa Shetty recalls her Baazigar shoot with Shah Rukh Khan, reveals he helped her with ‘utmost patience’

Shilpa Shetty Kundra is busy promoting her upcoming family drama Sukhee. The actress made her debut with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Baazigar in 1993 and became a prominent face in Bollywood during the 90’s. In a recent interview, Shilpa Shetty credited Shah Rukh Khan for helping with with utmost patience. She revealed how the Jawan actor helped her to face the camera.

In an interview, Shilpa spilled beans about her Sukhee moment with the Pathaan actor. She recalled, “I had a lot of Sukhee moments because I was a newcomer. Shah Rukh helped me a lot with utmost patience.”

She further revealed how she struggled with speaking in Hindi. The actress said, “Kyunki na mujhe Hindi aati thi na acting. Toh maine jo bhi seekha us process mai Shah Rukh se bahut kuch seekhne ko mila mujhe kyunki he was a theatre actor. Camera ko face kaise karna, aur jis patience ke sath unhone mujhe scenes mai help kiya voh bahut hi sukhee moments rahe hai mere liye (Neither I could speak Hindi nor I was a good actor. So during that process, I learned a lot from Shah Rukh Khan. He taught me how to face the camera. And, the patience with which he helped me was my sukhee moment).”

In the same interview, she spoke about Salman Khan. “I have worked with him in a number of films. I think people who have worked with Salman can only understand him”, shared Shilpa.

Workwise, the actress is gearing up for family drama Sukhee which is all set to release on 22 September 2023. She will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force as a female cop. The series also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi in pivotal roles. Apart from this, she will feature in Dhruva Sarja‘s upcoming film ‘KD’ aka ‘KingDom’. This will mark her return to Kannada films after a hiatus of 18 years.
