Shilpa Shetty appeals to fans to watch Hungama 2 amid the ongoing investigation of her husband Raj Kundra’s case

Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra had landed in troubled waters as his name has cropped up in an alleged adult film racket. He was arrested on July 19 and after he was produced before a court, he was sent to police custody till July 23 with one of his partners. Today, Raj Kundra and his associate’s police custody was extended till July 27. Later, a team of Crime Branch officials was seen arriving at Raj and Shilpa’s Juhu residence. Reportedly, they arrived to conduct a raid at the couple’s residence.

Amidst her husband’s case, Shilpa doesn’t want her film Hungama 2 to get affected. The film has released on Disney+Hotstar at 7:30 pm today and ahead of its release, Shilpa penned a note on her Instagram handle urging her fans to watch it.

She wrote, “I believe and practice the teachings of Yoga,“The only place where life exists is the present moment, NOW.” Hungama 2 involves the relentless efforts of an entire team that’s worked very hard to make a good film, and the film shouldn’t suffer… ever!So today, I request you all to watch Hungama 2 with your families to put a smile on your face and for the sake of every single person attached to the film.”

Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie also stars Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jaaferi, Pranitha Shubhash, Johnny Lever, Ashutosh Rana and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, as per a report in ETimes, Shilpa’s statement has been recorded by Crime Branch officials in the Raj Kundra pornography case. She is also being questioned for other details about the investigation.
