On Thursday, Shilpa Shetty hosted a special screening for Sukhee which was attended by Rekha, Avneet Kaur, Shabana Azmi, and others. A video of Shilpa rushing to touch veteran actor Shabana Azmi’s feet was shared by a paparazzo on Instagram.

Shilpa looked beyond beautiful in a red outfit. As soon as she saw Shabana Azmi, Shilpa Shetty ran to take her blessings. The veteran actor stopped her from touching her feet and gave her a hug.

Shilpa recalls husband Raj Kundra and her ‘tough times’

Coming back to Sukhee, Shilpa recently revealed that it was husband Raj Kundra who convinced her to do the film as it was offered to her during their ‘tough time’. Speaking with Bollywood Bubble, Shilpa said, “Life is a journey and you have to live it, live in the moment. I’ve always taken decisions in my life based on my instincts. Whenever it’s an instinctive decision, it is a great decision. I don’t regreat those decisions and I didn’t think at time I was ready for Sukhee because I was engulfed with a lot of my own, I think issues with how I am going to deal with my kid and I have many other businesses. I have an app running and I had to priortise.”

The actress added, “I am known as an actor and that’s my first day job but I had to be in the right frame. When you go on the set, you have to give it your best shot. I didn’t think I was in that mind space but it was very kind of Vikram, Sonal to have wait. And yes, I got back like full throttle.”

Sonal Joshi has directed Sukhee. On the other hand, Bollywood Bubble gave Shilpa 2.5 stars.

Now that Sukhee has released, Shilpa will be next seen in KD – The Devil with Dhruva Sarja. She will be playing the role of Satyavati in the upcoming film. Apart from that, Shilpa also has Rohit Shetty’s web series Indian Police Force.
