Shilpa Shetty shares an excerpt on faith amid Raj Kundra controversy: ‘We deepen and strengthen it’

Shilpa Shetty is working hard to return to normal in her life as her husband Raj Kundra is imprisoned in a porn video racket. The actress recently returned to the dancing reality show Super Dancer 4 as a judge, and she has been posting on Instagram. On Monday night (August 23), she posted an Instagram story which was an excerpt from a book. The actress emphasised the significance of spirituality in life in the book extract. 

Shilpa Shetty has been quite active on Instagram since her return to Super Dancer 4. She had previously uploaded two beautiful photographs of herself as she prepared for the reality programme. She now shared a snapshot of an extract from a book on her Instagram account. The image depicts a Bertrand Russell quotation that reads, “What we need is not the will to believe, but the wish to find out.”

The book excerpt read, “Faith involves a leap of imagination. Real faith also involves a searching, a desire to find answers to life’s most difficult questions. We may have faith that follows the teachings of an organised religion, or we may have faith we have acquired through our own experiences and study. In either case, we do not betray our faith when we continue to search for meaning. Rather, we deepen and strengthen it.”

Shilpa was recently seen in Hungama 2, which aired on Disney+Hotstar. The film is a sequel to the 2003 popular film Hungama, and it also stars Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jafri, and Pranitha Subhash in key parts. Shilpa’s next appearance will be in Sabbir Khan’s forthcoming film Nikamma, which also stars Abhimanyu Dasani and Shirley Setia.
