Shilpa Shetty shares FIRST post after Raj Kundra’s arrest: Have survived challenges in the past

Late on Thursday night, actress Shilpa Shetty shared a post on Instagram. This is Shilpa’s first post following her husband Raj Kundra’s arrest in an alleged adult film racket. Ever since Raj’s arrest, Shilpa has been away from the social media and shutterbugs . However, last night she finally broke her stoic silence. In her first post after her husband’s arrest, Shilpa shared a book’s page that featured James Thurber’s quote. Read on to know what it read.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Shilpa shared a post about being aware and surviving challenges. The page highlighted a quote from James Thurber that read, “Do not look back in anger, or forward in fear, but around in awareness.”

Whereas the page read, “I take a deep breath, knowing that I’m lucky to be alive. I have survived challenges in the past and I will survive challenges in the future. Nothing need to distract me from living my life today.”

Raj was arrested on July 19 after Mumbai Police found his involvement in pornographic filmmaking. He has been sent to judicial custody till July 23. The businessman has been booked under IPC Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays), and relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Police has said that they haven’t found any active involvement of Shilpa in Raj’s case yet.
