Shilpa Shetty shouted at Raj Kundra during home search?; asked, “What was the need to do all this?”

Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 for allegedly producing and distributing pornographic films through mobile applications. He was to stay in Judicial custody till July 23 but it was later extended to the 27th of this month after the 45-year-old was produced before Magistrate Court. Raj Kundra had returned home briefly during his home search by the police when it is said that his wife Shilpa Shetty was seen scolding him. It is reported that Shilpa was shaken and broke down.

According to a report by NDTV, Shilpa told Raj, “We have everything, what was the need to do all this.” The police sources had further told the portal that Shilpa also told Raj that the family’s reputation has been ruined because of the case, she said, “family’s reputation was ruined, their endorsements in the industry were being cancelled and that she had to give up many projects”

According to a report by ANI, Shilpa was also quite upset after giving her statement. There is also said to be no evidence tying her to the case, “Shilpa was very upset after the interrogation. She and Kundra had a huge argument where she shouted and asked him what was the need of doing such a thing and why he did everything. The crime branch team had to intervene between the couple to pacify the actress,” the sources said.

Meanwhile, Raj and his associate have been booked under Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) besides sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
