It was recently that the news of ICSE including ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Harry Potter’ in the syllabus for students came up and actress Shilpa Shetty had even better things to suggest to the board. However, she didn’t know, it would hit her back like this.
The actress tweeted suggesting that even ‘Little Women’ should be included in the syllabus. Which is fine, but what followed next, made her a target of trolls on Twitter. The actress suggested that even ‘Animal Farm’ should be added in the syllabus, as according to her, the book would teach kids to love and care for animals.
Now, as anyone who has read the book knows, it is actually a satire, where animals start a revolution against corruption. It is cretainly nothing to do with how to take care of animals.
She later deleted the tweet, but obviously, became the target of internet trolls and soon #ShilpaShettyReviews started trending on twitter with people posting funny comments on her.
