Shiney Ahuja’s controversial life to be turned into a film?

Its raining biopic in Bollywood. Every second filmmaker in B-town is making a biopic either on a sportsperson, celeb or a politician. We have a list of biopics which are already in the pipeline and now it looks like there’s one more addition in this never-ending list. According to the latest buzz apparently, a biopic on actor Shiney Ahuja‘s life is on the anvil.

As per a report in Deccan Chronicle, most probably filmmaker Kumar Mangat will be making Ahuja’s biopic. Though Mangat has denied the reports, but a source close to the daily informed, “The producer has not got Shiney Ahuja’s consent to make the film. He is, therefore, keeping it under wraps.”

Shiney made his Bollywood debut with Sudhir Mishra’s ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi'(2003). Later he went on to star in films like ‘Life In a Metro’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’ ‘Gangster’ and others. Shiney was last seen in ‘Welcome Back’.

Ahuja was counted amongst one of the best performers of his generation, but later his filmy career failed miserably when he was accused of rape by his maid in 2009.

The report in the daily also claimed that unlike Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Sanju’ which whitewashed Sanjay Dutt, Shiney’s biopic won’t try to victimize him. Let’s see if these reports turn out to be true.
