Shocking – A muslim group issues Fatwa against A R Rahman

A mumbai based muslim group ‘Raza Academy’ has issued a Fatwa against Bollywood’s music maestro A R Rahman and a Legendary Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi Objecting to an Iranian film “Muhammad: Messenger of God”. The fatwa is issued against everyone associated with the film. The group claims that the film makes a mockery of Islam.

Saeed Noorie, chief of Raza Academy said “We are against the title. People may use it in a bad manner if they don’t like the film, which will mean an insult to the Prophet. The actors have charged money to act in the film and they may have dubious character in real life. How can we Muslims allow such things to happen?”

They have also demanded a case to be filed against A R Rahman for hurting the feelings of Muslims.
