If you talk about the most flourishing new-age composers in Bollywood, Amaal Mallik will be one of them. The young lad has already given us several super hit songs, and is known to create soothing melodious tracks. However, this time Amaal has made it to the headlines for a different reason altogether. In a recent Facebook post, he has accused composer Mithoon of blatantly copying tunes of his popular song ‘Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon’.
Before you proceed, check out Mithoon’s song below!
Here’s a portion from his piece!
“Been informed that an entire bar of a song of mine has been blatantly ripped in this #Jammin song of Shraddha Sharma…
With due respect to one of my favourite composers Mithoon, I love you and I always will, but I dunno why you had to directly lift the melody of my Antara (Stanza) from one of my most famous and heartfelt compositions#MainRahoonYaNaRahoon.
You have given such wonderful hits, I’m really honoured that my work has inspired you here, but this sounds more than just an inspiration 😛
How about an acknowledgement sir ?!” [sic]

We lent our ears to Mithoon’s ‘Jammin’ and it does sound similar to portions of ‘Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon’ which featured Esha Gupta and Emraan Hashmi.
