Shot in the dark: This super-starry film is definitely not happening anytime soon

This came as the announcement of the year. It involved two huge superstar actors and a big filmmaker-producer known for his big budgeted dramas. Now, all of them had joined hands for a film together – something which was a fresh take on Bollywood rules and norms.

But grapevine suggests that the film is not happening anymore. Sad but true… The filmmaker apparently tried to con the superstar who wasn’t in the know that another good superstar friend of his, was making a film on the same theme and had already announced it. When this good-natured superstar hero got to know about the filmmaker’s plan, he simply decided to pull the plug on the film. After all, he is also one of the producers investing money.

The other superstar who’s acting in the film, also supported his contemporary superstar and felt it was unethical to announce a film, when someone else has already done that. Eventually, the filmmaker was grounded and while this film is never happening, he has asked his team to develop a fresh script around a different theme which will earmark the association of the three stalwarts. But unlike as planned or announced, this film will now get pushed for over a year or so.

The only advantage that the team has, is because they never announced what their film was about. But it was splashed all over the news. Now, they plan to simply turn around and say that, ‘Oh, we never wanted to make that film at all’ and call it another piece of wrong journalism. Well, like they say, when your secrets are out in the open, just blame the media! Could you guess who we are talking about?
