Revealed: Shraddha Kapoor’s first look from Saina Nehwal’s biopic

Biopics especially based on a sportsperson are very inspiring and interesting to watch. After presenting biopics of Olympic boxer Mary Kom and field sprinter Milkha Singh, our filmmaker is now gearing up to present the biopic of badminton singles player Saina Nehwal.

Shraddha Kapoor will be stepping into the shoes of Saina and she has already started shooting for this much-awaited biopic. Recently talking about Saina, Shraddha had told Mumbai Mirror, “Saina is the country’s sweetheart, a champion and a youth icon. It’s a challenging role for an actor as it requires an immense amount of transformation.”

Helmed by Amole Gupte, this Saina Nehwal biopic was in the pipeline for so long. We are glad that finally, the film has gone on the floors and now we are eagerly looking forward to the release of this biopic’s trailer.
