Shraddha Kapoor indulges in the life of Elia Kazan

Shraddha Kapoor is an ardent reader. The actress often picks up some of her favourtie authors and during every travel or free time, she is seen indulged in these books.

This time around, the actress is busy going through ‘Elia Kazan: A Life’, which is an autobiography of the American director, producer, writer and actor. Apparently, the book is recommended by her ex-beau Aditya Roy Kapur, who too is a book lover.

Says a source to DNA, “While Shraddha loves reading all kinds of stuff and picks up books whenever she’s traveling, Elia Kazan: A Life is the first autobiography she picked up, as it was recommended by Aditya when they were shooting for ‘OK Jaanu’. She likes to ask Aditya what books to read sometimes as he has eclectic tastes. She finds the book fascinating as it delves into the life of Elia Kazan who is considered by many to be one of the most honoured and influential directors on Broadway and in Hollywood history.”

Shraddha to confirms, “Aditya told me he found the book extremely inspiring, hence I decided to get myself a copy. I haven’t finished reading it yet. In fact, I haven’t even reached half way through because I haven’t had the time to read the entire book as I have been busy with my shoots and show rehearsals.” She further adds, “I love reading all kinds of books. I haven’t read many memoirs, though. Elia Kazan: A Life is the first one and I have liked what I read so far.”
