Shraddha Kapoor turns down role in SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ for THIS reason

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is slowly but steadily rising through the ranks. The daughter of Shakti Kapoor is taking things one step at a time and just gets on with her job without worrying about external factors. Now, there were reports of Shraddha being approached for SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. This drama already stars Alia Bhatt.

Earlier, British actress Daisy Edgar Jones made news after she exited filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film ‘RRR’ due to ‘unavoidable circumstances.’ Since then, the makers have been hunting for other faces. A while ago, Bollywood actors Shraddha Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra’s names were tossed up as contenders to replace Daisy. However now, it seems that Shraddha has declined the offer.

A source quoted by Deccan Chronicle said, “Shraddha is now one of the busiest actresses in Bollywood. She already has to adjust her dates according to multiple films that she has signed up. Her name was on top of the list but it does seem that she will not be able to adjust her dates for the film. What will be interesting is to see whether the makers go for an Indian actress or try another British actress for the role, if they don’t get a big star in time for the film’s next schedule.”

‘RRR’ is a fictitious tale about two Telugu freedom fighters – Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem – played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR respectively. The film is made on a grand scale and is slated to release on July 30, 2020.
