Shraddha Kapoor on ‘Rock On 2’ failure: It feels bad

‘Rock On 2’ has proved to be a disaster at the box office. It was the first Bollywood film to get affected by the demonetisation. Recently, at the Global Citizen Festival India, when Shraddha Kapoor was asked about the failure of the film, the actress said that it feels bad.

She said, “It’s sad the film has not done well. It feels bad because you spend so many days working for a film and a Friday decides its fate. I wish people liked the film and it did better. The film has been receiving mixed responses and I still hope people go and watch it.”

The same question was asked to her co-star Farhan Akhtar, he said, “We will talk about it some other time.”

‘Rock On 2’ also starred Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai. Though the film was promoted well, it didn’t receive the response as expected.
