EXCLUSIVE: Shraddha Kapoor says Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar co-star Ranbir Kapoor reminded her of ‘young’ Amitabh Bachchan

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar released in theatres on 8^th March, 2023. This is the first time Ranbir and Shraddha came together onscreen. The actors won hearts with their sizzling chemistry in Luv Ranjan’s directorial film. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shraddha Kapoor shared her experience of working with Ranbir in TJMM.

Shraddha opens up on working with Ranbir

Shraddha told us, “I had heard a lot of things about him. I heard that people said that if you work with Ranbir, you’re gonna have a great time working with him. He’s a dream to work with and he’s an amazing actor and actors love working with him. So, I heard all of this and was like ok a lot of people are saying a lot of positive things about people. And I don’t believe anything that anybody says unless I experience it firsthand. So, I had really admired him as an actor since Saawariya, Wake Up Sid, Bachna Aae Haseeno, and Barfi. All the films I felt that he’s super versatile and you know he’s loved for being a fabulous actor. So, I was curious to know how he’s going to be on sets.”

Shraddha added, “I have to tell you that he’s so in tune with his craft and he just brings magic on the big screen. It was an absolute pleasure to experience that with him. He comes as very, very sincere about what he does. He’s very level-headed and shant (calm) about what he does.”

That’s not all, Shraddha went on to add that Ranbir Kapoor reminded her of ‘young’ Amitabh Bachchan. The actress said, “He reminds of the acting prowess of Mr Bachchan (Amitabh Bachchan) in Mr Bachchan’s younger days. I think that is a superb thing to have.”

During the conversation, Shraddha Kapoor added that she first met Ranbir when they both were kids. Recalling the time, Shraddha shared, “We have photographs together. We have pictures together where I think right after my mundan I had gone for one of my dad’s shoot and he was there. I was very small, I don’t remember that very clearly but I do remember Rishi (Kapoor) uncle and while growing up and Riddhima Kapoor who’s Ranbir’s sister. So, I do have these vague memories.”

On the other hand, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar was released on 8^th March, 2023. Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer has already crossed Rs 50 crore mark and is going strong at the box office.
