On the professional front, Shruti was last seen in the romantic comedy ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ also starring Rajkummar Rao and Gautam Gulati. She is presently working on ‘Sabaash Naidu’, a trilingual flick directed by father Kamal Haasan. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Kamal Haasan was recently in news as the Tamil version of television show ‘Bigg Boss 11’ caught flacks. The show was called anti-Hindu and protesters even demanded a ban on the same.
