Shruti Haasan moves to police as stalker threatens to kill her

Actress Shruti Haasan has reportedly moved to the police, after she received a chain of abusive messages from a stalker who used derogatory language and also threatened to stab her to death.

The man in question is KG Guruprasad, a practising doctor from Karnataka who works at Hassan Institute of Medical Science, Karnataka. He has been harassing Shruti on Twitter from September, 2016.

The police complaint was filed on Wednesday to the Cyber Crime grievance cell at the City Police Commissioner’s Office at Chennai, through Shruti’s agent Praveen Antony.

Earlier in 2013 also, Shruti was once attacked by a stalker at her Bandra residence in Mumbai.
