One of the most awaited movies of this year, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan‘ starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Jitendra Kumar, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta has hit the theatres today. We are here at the special screening of this Hitesh Kewalya directorial. The movie is all about embracing the LGBTQ community but is it living up to our expectations? Read on to find out.
The movie starts on a high note with Ayushmann and Jitendra running to catch a train in a typical ‘DDLJ’ style. The two are a delight to watch so far. The plot is strong and holds a good substance. The screenplay is crisp and doesn’t give you a minute to doze.
Ayushmann and Jitendra make a good pair on screen. The struggle of being a gay couple is shown in the first half and we have watched pretty much most of the trailer shots so the curiosity is building now. So far so good, looking forward to the second half.
