Shweta Bachchan wants Karan Johar to rap ‘Mere Gully Mein’ song for her

Ever since ‘Gully Boy’s trailer was released, everybody seems to be busy talking about the film. Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ features Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Recently the makers of the film launched its song ‘Mere Gully Mein’ which has been receiving an overwhelming response from the audience. In the song, ‘Mere Gully Mein’ we see Ranveer participating in a rap battle.

‘Mere Gully Mein’ song has left everyone awestruck. When Zoya made an announcement about this song on Instagram, filmmaker Karan Johar had commented that he is eagerly waiting for it.

After seeing Karan’s comment on the above post, his close friend Shweta Bachchan Nanda took to social media and requested him to rap the song for her.

Recently, Shweta Nanda along with her brother Abhishek Bachchan appeared on Karan Johar’s popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ and they literally owned the show with their camaraderie. Together the siblings not only pulled each other’s leg but also roasted Karan on his own show.

Talking about ‘Gully Boy’, the film is all set to hit the silver screens on February 14, 2019.
