‘Makdee’ actress Shweta Basu Prasad ties the knot with Rohit Mittal, view pics

Bollywood, as it seems, is going through a romantic phase as every actor or actress is busy getting married. Today is exactly the one month of Deepika Padukone tying the knot with Ranveer Singh in Italy. Then, we had global superstar Priyanka Chopra tying the knot with Nick Jonas in Jodhpur. Even, comedian and actor Kapil Sharma tied the knot with Ginni Chatrath on December 12 in Jalandhar.

And, now we have, actress Shweta Basu Prasad marrying her long-time filmmaker boyfriend Rohit Mittal as per Hindu rituals on December 13. The couple got married in Pune in the presence of their family and friends. The ‘Chandra Nandini’ actor looked beautiful as a Bengali bride in a pink silk sari with a statement choker necklace, a nath and a borla-mathapatti.

The groom too looked quite dapper and handsome in a black achkan-churidaar along with a beige turban. The couple looked quite happy and content on their big day and had all the well-wishers wishing them.

Shweta  Basu Prasad shot to fame as a child actor in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Makdee’. She also worked in the popular television show ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’.The talented actress has also played the role of Varun Dhawan’s sister-in-law in ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, which starred Alia Bhatt in the lead role.
