It has just been 3 days and I hope to reach my fans soon.”
Revealing what attracted her towards Jalne Mein Hai Mazaa, Shweta shared, “I’ve loved the ballad which was originally composed by Salim Suleiman Merchant in 94. I asked my producer, Addy S to recreate that into a disco/ retroversion and a little bit of house music which I like to hear. We did this during the pandemic, shot the video in Goa in October last year.”

Shweta added that she does not believe in following any trending. “I have never followed trends, I prefer creating something, which is me, my personality. For me, it’s a very natural thing during the creative process to have a look which is true to me,” she said.
Ask Shweta her favourite song, she says, ‘All songs have a special place in my heart, but if u ask me to choose, then I would say Deewane and Mangtha Hain Kya because they were songs that were pathbreakers and not mainstream. It was sung from the heart and it was original.”
Lastly, she also spoke about returning to Bollywood and singing songs for movies. “I’ve sung for a Bollywood film, but whether they open their doors for me, we’ll have to wait and see. But if released, it’s going to be a banger. Was a sensational song,” Shweta Shetty concluded.
