Actor Siddhanth Kapoor, son of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, was reportedly arrested by police after they conducted a raid at a rave party in Bengaluru. It was reported that Siddhanth tested positive for consuming drugs due to this, he was arrested on Monday. Now, the latest update in the drug case suggests that Siddhanth has been released on bail after being detained by police in the alleged drug case.
Apart from the Shootout at Wadala actor, four others who were detained along with him have also been released. Earlier, Bengaluru City Police’s Deputy Commissioner of Police Bheemashankar S Guled revealed that Kapoor had consumed narcotics during the rave party. “It is confirmed that Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhanth Kapoor took drugs. He tested positive for drugs in the blood test report. Hence, he has been brought to Ulsoor police station,” news agency PTI quoted Guled as saying. “We will be sending him to judicial custody,” news agency ANI quoted Guled as saying.

After it was reported that he has been detained in an alleged drug case, his father and actor Shakti Kapoor reacted to the news of his son and told TOI, “I can say only one thing – it’s not possible”.
Reportedly, Police also seized seven ‘Ecstasy’ pills and a packet of marijuana from the party spot. The accused have been booked under Section 22A, 22B and 27B of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
