Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter trailer released a few days ago and it has been a hot topic since then. While some loved the trailer, few expressed their disappointment. Speaking of the latter, Pakistani actress Hania Aamir recently took to her Instagram Stories and criticised Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter for portraying Pakistan as villains. Following this, Siddharth Anand reacted to her story about his upcoming movie.

Without taking any name, Hania wrote, “So sad and unfortunate to know that there are artists out there in this day and age who are aware of the power that the cinema holds and still go ahead and feed the riff between the two countries. I feel sorry for the artists who try to bridge the gap by trusting their art as a medium. Distasteful. Let art breathe.”
The filmmaker reacted to Hania’s Instagram story with a thinking face emoji. On the other hand, Deepika and Hrithik are yet to react to the same.

Hania Aamir is not the only actress to share her opinion. Actor Adnan Siddiqui too slammed the trailer of Fighter. He tweeted, “Once celebrated for love, Bollywood now crafts hate-filled narratives, portraying us as villains. Despite our love for your films, it’s disheartening. Art transcends boundaries; let’s use it to promote love and peace. Two nations, victims of politics, deserve better.”
