Sidharth and Jacqueline-starrer ‘A Gentleman’ leaked online!

Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez-starrer ‘A Gentleman’ has found its way on the internet just days after its release! Yes, sadly the movie has become a victim to online piracy and has been leaked on the internet. It is available on various torrent websites. A report in International Business Times states that several download links of the movie are being circulated on social media. Various illegal websites have also been offering links to download the movie. The video quality is poor, but HD options are also being made available in certain cases.

The movie which had released in around 2500 screens worldwide has found its copy online which is indeed saddening for the entire team of the film. The box office collection of the movie so far stands around Rs 12.25 crore nett, but with the online leak, the collections are going to witness even more dip considering the way people are watching pirated movies these days. (Also Read: A Gentleman Movie Review: Strong action loses its way amid ill-conceived plot)

Earlier, reports were rife that Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starer ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ which released on the same day as ‘A Gentleman’ also got leaked, in fact before its release day. However, the makers of the film dismissed these reports and stated that the movie is not leaked. Before that, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ had also leaked, but the leak did not affect the box office collections of the movie as it crossed the Rs 100 crore mark last week.

Overall, movies getting leaked online continues to happen, so it’s indeed saddening for the industry at large.
