Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt call it quits?

It’s almost been five years since actors Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt have been rumouredly seeing each other. Many a times, news of their split hit the headlines. But soon, we would spot them together, with faces full of smile. Even on the big screen, their pairing is a hit.

But! If rumours are to be believed, then the two have split again. and this time it looks permanent!

“Sidharth and Alia have split, and unlike previous instances, this time, it seems permanent. They will not get back together again,” a source told DNA After Hrs. (Also Read: Sidharth Malhotra reveals how being an outsider in Bollywood has its own advantage)

Does that mean they wouldn’t even be friends with each other? “Alia and Sid are avoiding each other and are not even on talking terms now. Maybe with time, they will get back to being friends, but for now they are maintaining a distance from each other. They were having a lot of fights in the recent times. Mutually, they decided it wasn’t working out and it was better to end it,” the source added.

Sidharth and Alia were apparently hit by the cupid when they came together for their debut flick ‘Student of the Year’. Since then, the two are said to have survived many highs and lows together.

The last time we saw them together was in Shakun Batra’s 2016 film ‘Kapoor & Sons – Since 1921’. On the professional front, Sidharth’s next is ‘A Gentleman’ with Jacqueline Fernandez. Alia, on the other hand, is now working on Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Raazi’ alongside Vicky Kaushal which is an adaptation of a novel ‘Calling Sehmat’ by Harinder S Sikka.

Their fans have been eagerly awaiting for ‘Aashiqui 3’, a movie that reportedly was going to star the two of them together. With rumours of their split, we know not what’s in the film’s fate!
