Sidharth Malhotra confirms being approached for ‘Aashiqui 3’

Bollywood hunk Sidharth Malhotra has recently confirmed that he is in talks for ‘Aashiqui 3‘. Rumours had been abounding in Bollywood that filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is thinking of casting Sid and Alia in the third instalment of the much-loved franchise. As there was no confirmation from the makers and the actors, the fans had lost hope to see the two in it.

Sidharth Malhotra’s confirmation that he has been approached for the film with ladylove Alia has sent a wave of joy among their fans. The handsome hunk, who is busy promoting his upcoming romantic film ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, when asked if he will be doing ‘Aashiqui 3’ had said, “ I am in talks for ‘Aashiqui 3’ with Alia Bhatt, but nothing has been confirmed”.

The ‘Aashiqui’ franchise is one of the most loved movies of Vishesh Films. The first had made the actors Rahul Bhatt and Anu Agarwal overnight stars. The second had launched Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor who had not only attained stardom but had also gone on to be romantically inclined. Now with Sidharth confirming the news, fans are eager to see the sizzling chemistry that is shared by him and Alia in real life, onscreen.

At present Sidharth is busy with the promotions of ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ with Katrina Kaif. He has also started shooting for his next with Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt is awaiting the release of ‘Dear Zindagi’ that has Shah Rukh Khan too. She is also busy shooting for ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ with Varun Dhawan.
