Bollywood’s latest Heartthrobs Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan had a fallout at Mentor Karan Johar’s birthday bash. But actor Sidharth Malhotra has rejected rumours of a fallout with his ‘Student Of The Year’ co-star Varun Dhawan, as baseless.
As per sources, Clearing the air Sidharth Malhotra said, “This fight was news to me and Varun both! I called him for his Humpty Sharma’s promo and he said that he saw Zaroorat from ‘Ek Villain’. I said ‘bastard you are fighting with me!’ and started abusing him (laughs) and he said ‘dude I don’t know where this is coming from!’ So, this fight was something even we didn’t know.”
The Ek Villain actor further added, “It is speculation. Sometimes people want to give out that energy. I think its very passive. Woh 90s ka zamaana tha, wo generation thi when actors were larger than life. Now, the business has changed. There are more films being made, there are more screens, more scripts; we all have enough work and we are all genuinely friendly and have no animosity as such about work. There is healthy competition. We all pull each other’s legs. We were pulling Arjun’s (Kapoor) leg at a party, calling him ‘sir sir sir!’ as his last film has done so well, that’s how guys bash their friends. But it is not like ki ‘yaar usko kyun?’ There is no such thought.”
Well soon their films ‘Ek Villian’ and ‘Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania’ is coming up for release.
