Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot on February 7 at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. The intimate wedding was attended by family and close friends of couple. Sid and Kiara took to their respective social media handles and shared first pics as husband and wife.

Fans were bowled over by their royal look in their wedding attire designed by celebrity designer Manish Malhotra. Today the ace designer took to Instagram and shared details about what went behind creating Sidharth Kiara wedding ensemble

Manish Malhotra designed the looks of the bride and the groom but also for the families of the couple. There were 16 (sixteen) couture creations that the couple decided to embrace throughout all their wedding festivities.

200 artisans for Kiara Sidharth wedding ensemble

Over 200 artisans came together to create the masterpiece with three dyes were created for Kiara’s ombre lehenga. Three thousand Seven Hundred hours went into the creation. Thirty thousand Swarovski crystals were embellished in KIara’s lehenga to give it a faity tale look. As the couple love Rome the designer incorporated designs of Roman architecture in the attires.

For Sidharth Malhotra’s metallic gold sherwani 3000 hours were spent in constructing it with ivory threadwork and badla work. Zardozi and Swarovski crystals we embroidered using a two-layer process. The maharaja uncut diamond necklace paired with a natural diamond kalgi on his gold safa gave him the royal look.

Kiara Advani was adorned in Manish Malhotra’s high diamond jewellery collection set of natural diamonds and Zambian Emeralds.

Sidharth Kiara Wedding Reception

The couple hosted a wedding reception for their friends in Mumbai. Kiara Advani was seen in another Manish Malhotra creation. She looked ethereal in an ebony-ivory construction in velvet satin with a fish-cut trail. Sidharth Malhotra wore a “tailor-made suave velvet suit” looking every bit debonair in the black attire.

Currently the couple are in Mumbai to wrap up some pending work. On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in Rohit Shetty Indian Police Force with Shilpa Shetty. He also has Yodha in his kitty. Kiara has SatyaPrem Ki Katha with Kartik Aaryan.
