Sidharth Malhotra lauds Alia Bhatt for her acting prowess, calls her a ‘fabulous performer’

Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt made their acting debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year. Later, they were seen together in Kapoor & Sons. Fans loved their chemistry in both the films. The actors were once rumoured to be in a relationship. And now, in a recent interview, Sidharth showered praise on his SOTY co-star Alia Bhatt.

Speaking with Bollywood Hungama, Sidharth said, “Alia is a fabulous performer, and where she makes you believe that it is all coming in very easily but she does her homework. I think her ease, her prep work is incredible.”

In a recent exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sidharth played a fun rapid fire round. The actor was asked what would be that one thing he would like to steal from Alia and he said, “The cat, Edward.”

Sidharth is now rumoured to be dating Kiara Advani. Sidharth and Kiara starred together in Shershaah. According to the reports, Sidharth is set to tie the knot with Kiara this year. Alia, on the other hand, is expecting her first child with husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor. Alia and Ranbir tied the knot in April this year, and announced pregnancy in June.

On the work front, Sidharth will be seen in Thank God, co-starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. The actor also has Yodha in his kitty. Sidharth will also be seen in Mission Majnu and Rohit Shetty’s web show Indian Police Force.

Alia, on the other hand, will be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The actress is also set to make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Gold. The film also features Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo and Matthias Schweighofer.
