Sidharth Malhotra reveals the thing wife Kiara Advani gave him that he never had in Mumbai

Earlier this year in February, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani got hitched in a dreamy wedding. The couple met on the sets of Shershaah and had a beautiful love story since. Sid and Kiara have been doling out couple goals ever since they tied the knot. And on the recent episode of Koffee With Karan 8, Sid spilled some beans on his married life.

Talking about Sid-Kiara, host Karan Johar said, “It seemed like a reel love story has translated into a real love story. Like the romance of Shershaah has come alive in the real world.” People got a glimpse of the couple’s big day through their beautiful wedding video. Their cute banter and gestures won everyone over. However, Sidharth didn’t want that video to be put out in public. The actor said, “It was not planned. I was quite against putting the video out. But credit to Manish (Malhotra) and Kiara, who said, ‘Let’s put it out’. I was like it might look forced.”

Sidharth on married life

Karan asked Sid if it has been daunting having a married life with both him and Kiara being so busy in their respective careers. The actor responded to it saying, “I came to Bombay about 16 years ago. And I have always lived by myself, or in initial years with friends, sharing rooms in apartments. Now, you have this one person that you’ve dated, obviously there is so much love and you want to spend time. If it is possible, I feel more responsible now. I feel like I have this another person I want to take care of. I want to make sure all is well. She motivates me to work harder.”

Sidharth also shared the factor that connects them the most. He said, “What binds both of us is that both of us are very family-oriented. Both of us have that upbringing and we bonded. Still today, we like spending a lot of time together meeting each other’s families. I never had a family in Bombay, now I do, thanks to her.” Sid and Kiara truly make for a perfect couple and such stories just make us believe that they are truly made for each other.
