Sidharth Malhotra starrer Yodha creates new record, opts for one-of-it-kind trailer launch mid-air for the first time

Sidharth Malhotra, Raashi Khanna, and Disha Patani starrer Yodha is one of the most anticipated this month. Ever since the announcement, the makers have been opting for a unique promotional strategy. After launching the poster mid-air, the makers also unveiled the trailer at 37,000 feet during a flight journey from Mumbai to Ahmedabad.

Yodha, presented by Amazon Prime and Dharma Productions, touches the sky’s limit once again. The Sidharth Malhotra starrer now witnesses the first-ever trailer launch on a flight – setting a new milestone in Hindi Cinema. The trailer was unveiled mid-flight at 37000 ft amid the presence of renowned journalists, who were originally en route to Ahmedabad from Mumbai to attend the press conference of Yodha.

During the journey, the passengers were handed customised tablets with a secret passcode which holds significance for Dharma production. The password numbered 1980 represented the year the first Dharma movie was released and the revelation is indeed adorable. As everyone was witnessing the action-packed trailer, the cast and makers took everyone by surprise with their presence and interaction about the film. Post the event, the reporters were treated with mouth-watering Gujarati Thali in Ahmedabad.

Well, ahead of the trailer, the poster of Yodha was also unveiled in a never-done-before style. The team revealed it in mid-air in Dubai and shared glimpses of the same.

About Yodha

Yodha also stars Disha Patani as the air hostess. It is jointly produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan. The movie is directed by the debutant duo of Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. The movie is all set to release on 15^th March and narrates the tale of a plane hijacking and the ensuing rescue mission.
