Sikandar: Salman Khan gears up to shoot last leg of the AR Murugadoss directorial in Rajkot; deets inside

Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala are all set to reunite for Sikandar. Touted to be biggest action film of the year, it is all set to release this Eid. A few days back, a new poster was launched of the film. And now a new update have surfaced. As per reports, Salman Khan Rashmika are shooting for last leg of Sikandar as the film teaser is set to release.

As per reports in Midday, a source informed, “Led by Murugadoss sir, the team has been going full throttle on the shoot. Salman finished the Mumbai schedule on February 14 late at night. The unit wrapped up at 6 am. All major portions have been shot and have reached the edit table. Only a two-day shoot with Salman in Rajkot is remaining, which has been lined up for the first week of March.”

“The film has high-octane action sequences that require VFX and meticulous post-production work. Murugadoss is overseeing the editing, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala has allotted additional resources to expedite the process,” adds the source. Earlier, it was also reported that the makers are planning to release trailer in early March.

Sajid Nadiadwala on his special day had unveiled the highly anticipated new poster of Sikandar. It featured Salman Khan in an intense and fierce avatar. He wrote, “To all the amazing fans, your patience means the world to us. A little gift on #SajidNadiadwala’s birthday, after the love we’ve received in Sikandar! A big surprise awaits on the 27th of Feb! Stay with us (with a red heart).”

Apart from Salman and Rashmika Mandanna, the film will also star Prateik Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Anjini Dhawan and Sharman Joshi in the key roles. Sikandar is scheduled to be released theatrically on March 28, 2025, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr.
