Watch: Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh treat us to a glimpse of ‘Simmba’ on Independence Day!

Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty have decided to give their fans a special gift this Independence Day. They shared a sneak peek of their upcoming film ‘Simmba’ and they have a message to convey which needs to be heard by everyone.

Karan, who is producing ‘Simmba‘, shared the video on Twitter writing, “The ROHIT SHETTY and RANVEER SINGH mania is waiting to explode!!! Have a look at a sneak peek of the POWER AND PUNCH of #SIMMBA !!! Happy Independence Day India! @RanveerOfficial @RSPicturez @RelianceEnt @apoorvamehta18.”

Ranveer too shared the same video writing, “A sneak peek into the #POWEROFSIMMBA… Releasing 28th December !!! #SaraAliKhan #RohitShetty @karanjohar @DharmaMovies @RelianceEnt @rspicturez @SimmbaTheFilm.”

“If you don’t fight crime against women, the next victim could be from your family,” reads the first line in the short video, which is followed by, “This Independence Day pledge to fight crime against women.” The video concludes with Ranveer aggressively entering in his ACP. Sangram Bhalerao avatar, and the lines which are displayed below read as, “Those who commit crime against women will be punished in his way.”

Where crime against women is increasing day by day, the makers are doing their bit to raise awareness about it.

The Rohit Shetty directorial also stars Sara Ali Khan along with Ranveer Singh and is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. ‘Simmba’, which is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster ‘Temper’, will release on December 28, 2018.
