Kangana Ranaut-starrer ‘Simran’ is receiving mixed response from the audience. Though people are loving her stellar performance, it’s the story that does not seem to entice the audience. Even the critics have given an average rating to the film, blaming the weak plot. Despite this, the box office collection of this film has been stable, till now. But amidst all these, reports of Hansal Mehta deleting his Twitter handle made it to the headlines.
Hansal Mehta was quite active on Twitter while promoting the film. But now, the filmmaker has clarified that he has not deleted the account.
Since so many people are speculating about me deleting my twitter a/c here I am.

Thankful for both the love and criticism coming our way. #Simran is an unconventional film about an unusual character. I'm very proud of it.

Kangana Ranaut made quite a few shocking comments about her personal life on Rajat Sharma’s talk show ‘Aap Ki Aadalat’, ahead of film’s release. From her relationship with Hrithik Roshan to the writing credits of ‘Simran’, Kangana bared it all on this show.
At that point, Hansal Mehta had quoted in one of the interviews, ” I have always maintained that I commend her for baring her soul and I negate all the people who are trying to wash it down, trivialise all that she has said. Somebody’s personal life and barring of somebody’s soul is not something to be trivialised. Don’t trivialise it!” (Also Read: Did you know Hansal Mehta was going to make ‘Sarbjit’ starring Kangana?)
