Armaan Malik issues clarification statement on misidentification

He began the note by writing, “Hi everyone. I’ve been trying to overlook an issue for a while now, but it seems to be getting out of hand at this point and I have to address it. A YouTube creator, earlier known as Sandeep, later changed his name to Armaan Malik and is currently on Big Boss OTT Season 3. This is causing a lot of confusion, with many people mistakenly tagging me and assuming we are the same person.”

The ‘Butta Bomma’ singer continued, “I want to be very clear: I have no connection to this individual and do not endorse him or his lifestyle in any way.” Armaan added that the misidentification especially on social media, is hampering his reputation and is misleading to people who have supported him for years. He stated, “While I can’t stop someone from changing their name and taking up the same as mine, I do request my own community to help me overcome this.”

Fans Reactions

Commenting on this tweet, a netizen wrote, “exactly, currently whenever we are searching Armaan Malik on social media or news handles that creep is showing up. Chances are there several people who won’t open up the whole article will assume that person is you. You need to take some sort of strict action, it’s problematic.” Another added, “This was a much needed clarification.”

A third added, “I agree @ArmaanMalik22 this is an issue. A few days back when I was searching for a song of yours, and the other guys stuff came up. And then I see that this Armaan is married multiple times, etc.. and was wondering WTF.. lol.. I feel there needs to be an effort to distance this guy.” A fourth noted, “I have to agree with you on this as I also made the same mistake. I was like when did Armaan Malik marry two women. Later found out it was some other guy. I guess you dont have to think much about this as youtuber dont have much staying power but artist’s work lives forever.”
