Singer Harshdeep Kaur blessed with a baby boy; says, ‘Our junior Singh has arrived’

Popular melodious singer Harshdeep Kaur is blessed with a baby boy. Announcing the good news via her social media handle, Harshdeep posted, “A little bit of heaven has come down to earth and has made us Mommy and Daddy. Our ‘Junior’ has arrived and we couldn’t be happier.”

Harshdeep married Mankeet Singh in 2015 and the couple welcomed their first child on March 2. Obviously, they are elated and over the moon.

One of the first ones to react to the post was singer Armaan Malik who wrote, “OMG, I called it right! Can’t wait to spoil this cutie. Congrats to you and Mankeet(sic).”

The Dilbaro singer Harshdeep had announced her pregnancy in February, 2021. “So excited to meet this little baby who is half me and half the one I love the most. Junior Kaur/Singh arriving in March 2021. Need your Blessings,” the singer had tweeted. The ‘Kabira’ singer had also shared photographs with her husband Mankeet Singh, where she flaunted her baby bump with a smile, in a floral printed dress.

Harshdeep tied the knot with childhood friend Mankeet in a hush-hush ceremony on March 20, 2015. The wedding was attended by family and close friends. Netizens showered love and best wishes for her, and wished her great health.

Harshdeep is popularly known as “Sufi Ki Sultana” because of her soulful Sufi renditions. After winning titles in two reality shows, Kaur established herself as a lead singer in Bollywood soundtracks. Some of her popular songs include Katiya Karun from Rockstar, Dilbaro from Raazi, Heer from Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ik Onkar from Rang De Basanti.
