EXCLUSIVE: Sobhita Dhulipala reacts to reports of starring in Don 3, says ‘I can wish for it’

In August this year, Ranveer Singh was announced as the new Don. He will be replacing Shah Rukh Khan in the crime thriller franchise. Post the announcement, there has been buzz around the female lead. Well, Sobhita Dhulipala had expressed her wish to play Roma in Don 3. A lot of her fans have also been manifesting that she bags the role. Some compared her with Priyanka Chopra, who has portrayed the character of Roma in Don and Don 2.

Sobhita talks about playing Roma in Don 3

Now, Sobhita Dhulipala joined Bollywood Bubble for the latest episode of BodyFaming and reacted to reports saying she will be playing Roma in Don 3. The actress said, “It’s crazy.” She then went on to shower love on PeeCee and Don by saying, “I’ve been a fan of her (Priyanka Chopra) work and her as a person. She has brought such fire to Roma. And I’ve loved Don, the films, the music, the energy, it’s amazing and I also enjoy watching action films in general. I have this keeda ki mujhe action film karna hai (laughs).”

Talking about Priyanka, Sobhita said, “I think it was triggered by Made In Heaven. Tara was also feisty. So, after the release a lot of people were like she will be a great fit for this and a lot of comments I saw on my Instagram which I freaked out about. I can wish for it but I don’t know what plans they’ve in their mind.” When asked if it scares her, she responded saying, “It excites me, it flatters me. It’s a big deal to be seen as worthy by an audience that is more interested in being critical.”

During a Q&A session on Instagram, a fan had earlier said, “Would love to see you in Don 3.” To this, Sobhita had responded saying, “So many questions about Don!!! What can I even say. I (red heart emoji) Roma man. So frikkin fire. Would be a total dream. OBVIOUSLY.”
