Social media abusers only want attention, says Anupam Kher

Actor Anupam Kher, on Friday night, said that most of social network users who use the platform to abuse personalities like him, are nothing but mere attention seekers. He also stated that slangs used by an abuser just reflect their narrow mentality.

“Of my five million followers I have blocked two people as they had given ‘galis’. (But) if you are given galis by someone it shows his mentality. I only look at the good side”- he said.

The veteran actor attended INFOCOM 2015, an annual technology conference, to deliver a lecture on “Bringing out the best in you”. Kher recently criticized Aamir Khan on Khan’s remark on growing incidents of intolerance in the country. “I think whatever I know of my country we are the most tolerant nation in the world.  I was born here, and grew up in this country. Never heard so much the word intolerance as I am hearing these days. Intolerance in comparison to what time?”- he stated and wondered at the same time

Kher, who also led a march to the President’s house opposing those who showed gestures against intolerance, said “I am proud of my Prime Minister who works hard and taken India to a global high. It motivates me,”
