Actress Soha Ali Khan recently visited Golden Temple in Amritsar and also paid a visit to a Ganpati pandal during Ganesh Chaturthi, the pictures of which she later shared with us through her social media handles.
Following this, a few of her followers attacked her on social media and questioned her religious faith. Now, Soha has a befitting reply for all of them.
“I am all for freedom of expression, but being told how going to a temple makes me a non-Muslim is plain callous. No one has the right to say that. Whether I choose to do namaz or go to a Church, how does it affect anyone?”
“Nobody owns me. India being a secular nation, we have to respect all religions and each other’s choices,” she said.
We definitely are with Soha on this one. Her reply sure defines the class that she has been brought up with.
On the professional front, Soha will next been seen in Shivaji Lotan Patil’s ‘31st October’ opposite Vir Das.
