Sohail Khan on his tiff with media: I was doing my job as a son

Rumours of Salman Khan and Iulia Vantur tying the knot in December have been gaining credence with each passing day. Fans and friends are quite excited to know all about their favourite actor’s plans of settling down with his Romanian girlfriend. The reason the speculations have risen to an astonishing height is the Dabangg Khan’s first public appearance with rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur, at Preity Zinta’s wedding reception.

Recently, Salman Khan’s younger brother Sohail Khan was spotted coming out of a popular eatery in Bandra with father Salim Khan and stepmother Helen. They were surrounded by the paparazzi and soon queries regarding Salman Khan’s impending marriage plans were put forward to them. The media personnel were shocked when instead of answering, Sohail started abusing them.

Sources said, “Sohail Khan was seen yelling at the journos using abusive language loudly. He even warned them to shut the camera immediately. This is quite opposite to how Arbaaz Khan handled the situation when he too was asked the same. The actor didn’t deny or confirm the news, but said that this isn’t the right time to talk about.”

When Sohail was contacted, this is what he said in his defence, “The incident last night was extremely unnecessary and unfortunate. I only got concerned and protective towards my father, because some young blood reporters who charged at him with mics, lights and scrambled questions, and restricted him from getting into his car, he was tired and needed his space after a long day. Initially I was polite, and requested them to give him the respect that he deserves, but when I didn’t see that happening, the protective side emerged and I got assertive with my words and asked them to back off, but nevertheless, if I have offended anyone, my sincere apologies, they were doing their job, and I was doing my job, as a son.”

Well looks like the actor has realised his mistake and apologised for the same. But do you think he was wrong in behaving so?
